Aboriginal Sport Circle is the national voice for sports, health, and wellness in First Nation, Métis, and Inuit communities. ASC works with regional associations like ISWO to carry out its mandate in building grassroots sports opportunities for Indigenous peoples. The ASC also hosts the annual National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC) and the North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) every four years. These events not only showcase the athletic talents of Indigenous youth but also serve as a platform for cultural exchange and community building. Through these initiatives, the ASC aims to foster a sense of pride and identity among Indigenous athletes, while promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Additionally, the organization collaborates with various stakeholders to develop policies and programs that address the unique needs and challenges faced by Indigenous communities in the realm of sports and wellness.
