The Masters Indigenous Games (MIG) organizing committee is thrilled to announce that OLG (Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation) will serve as the official volunteer partner for the highly anticipated 2025 Masters Indigenous Games.
This partnership is a testament to OLG’s unwavering commitment to supporting Indigenous communities across Ontario. OLG’s involvement goes beyond sponsorship—it’s about fostering community, celebrating culture, and empowering volunteers who are the heart of every successful event.
OLG’s Ongoing Support for Indigenous Communities
OLG has a longstanding history of giving back. In 2023, OLG generously sponsored the Main Stage at the Cultural Village, providing three days of free, live performances for the public. This initiative brought people together to celebrate Indigenous culture, music, and art, and set the stage for even greater community engagement at MIG 2025.
As a crown agency, OLG manages land-based gaming facilities, province-wide lottery games, internet gaming, and charitable gaming centres. Since 1975, OLG has contributed nearly $57 billion to the people and Province of Ontario, supporting key government priorities and making a tangible difference in communities across the province.
Each year, profits from OLG’s operations benefit gaming host communities, Ontario First Nations, lottery retailers, and local charities—demonstrating a broad and meaningful impact.
A Partnership Built on Gratitude and Community
“Chi’ Meegwetch, to OLG for their generous support,” said Marc Laliberte, honorary chair of the Games. This expression of thanks reflects the deep appreciation for OLG’s role in making the 2025 Masters Indigenous Games possible.
