ISWO is dedicated to breaking down barriers, increasing access to resources, and promoting positive behaviours. Proposals that highlight how culturally grounded multi-sport camps can offer meaningful sport, recreation, and physical activity opportunities to enhance overall wellness are strongly encouraged.

Applications should showcase the opportunity for youth to participate in sport and competition to develop skill, leadership, and celebrate cultural traditions or history.
Skill Development
Providing youth with key skills is our responsibility as leaders and as community representatives. Grassroots camps are a foundational opportunity to build expertise across the province.

Who Can Apply to Host
Communities and organizations that are passionate about fostering youth engagement through sports are encouraged to apply for hosting. This support is designed to help launch or expand projects that promote skill development by providing opportunities for sport, recreation, and physical activity.
Eligibility Criteria:
- First Nation, Métis, or Inuit (FNMI) community associations located in Ontario.
- Established Indigenous youth groups in Ontario.
- Indigenous not-for-profit organizations located in Ontario.
- A First Nation, Inuit, or Métis governing body, or an Indigenous provincial/territorial organization or authority in Ontario.
- Not-for-profit organizations, clubs, and associations in Ontario that directly influence organized sport delivery in Indigenous communities, in consultation and collaboration with those communities.

ISWO is responsible for determining the eligibility of each application, their project, and project-related expenses. ISWO staff may contact your for additional details after submission.
