We are seeking elite Indigenous hockey players to represent our Team Ontario 18U male and female teams at the 2026 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC). NAHC is a prestigious Hockey Canada-sanctioned event to be held from May 3–9, 2026 in Regina, Saskatchewan.
To be eligible for Team Ontario, you must meet the following criteria:
- be born between the years of 2008 to 2012 inclusively;
- be of Indigenous ancestry;
- be enrolled full-time in school; and
- an athlete's parent(s) or guardian(s) must be more permanently residing in the province of Ontario OR the athlete is attending (full-time) a provincial hockey academy.
To being the process of joining Team Ontario, please submit an expression of interest no later than March 1, 2026. Tryouts will take place in northern and southern Ontario in early 2026. Stay tuned to our newsletter or our social media channels to be notified of tryout dates and locations.
