Join Indigenous Sport & Wellness Ontario for a meaningful conversation with Elder Lila Bruyere as part of our Standing Bear: Making Tracks series.

Lila will share her experience as a second-generation survivor of St. Margaret’s Residential School, offering a personal perspective on intergenerational trauma, resilience, and reconciliation. Together, we will make space to listen, reflect, and deepen our understanding of the lasting impacts of residential schools on Indigenous individuals, families, and communities.

We are honoured to host this conversation and grateful to Lila for her willingness to share such an important and deeply personal part of her life.
