Team Ontario is excited to support six U Sport, College, or high-performance athletes for the U20 All-Nations Indigenous national volleyball program. This summer, the selected athletes will travel to New Zealand to compete against the Maori national team. Interested athletes are encouraged to fill out the expression of interest form for a chance to be selected. Eligibility requires athletes to be 18 years of age by July 9th, 2026.

The All-Nations Indigenous Volleyball Showcase is a prestigious initiative aimed at fostering relationships among Indigenous athletes, coaches, and communities in Canada and Aotearoa (New Zealand). This program not only emphasizes competitive excellence but also promotes cultural exchange and mutual learning.

In 2026, two U20 All-Nations teams will visit Aotearoa for a series of international volleyball friendlies. During their stay, athletes will engage in Maori ceremonies, reside in traditional longhouses, and deepen their connection to Indigenous culture. While showcasing some of Turtle Island's top volleyball talent, the program underscores the importance of sport as a means to develop the holistic potential of each participant.
